How do I sign up to Volunteer?

We use SignUpGenius to coordinate parent volunteers. To sign up, simply click here and select your preferred date and time slot at the bottom of the page.

What do I need to do in preparation for voluneering?

Anyone volunteering at school in any capacity and parents joining their children for lunch are required to complete volunteer training below prior to their first visit. Thank you in advance for your gifts of service and time.

What do I need to do the day I am volunteering?

​Please arrive at the school 5-10 minutes prior to your volunteer time. Enter TRES through the front entrance and ring the front desk to allow entrance. Although this may seem rude, please do not hold the door open for others to enter the building as this is a compromise to school security. Enter the front desk area and to the right you will see a computer where you can sign your driver’s license to check in. A sticker will be printed with your photo that you should wear visibly on your clothing. Once finished, you can come around back to the baseball field where Walking Wednesday is held. Detailed instructions for what to do during your Walking Wednesdays Recess slot will be sent via email a couple of days prior to your volunteer date. Class lists to mark off the number of laps, pens, clipboards, and prizes will all be there waiting for you in a clear plastic bin by the baseball field. 

What is the weather policy?

If the grass is wet the children only play on the blacktop for Recess and Walking Wednesday will be canceled. You will receive an email update through signup genius as information regarding cancellation becomes available (the night before if it's obvious or by 9am the day of volunteering if it is a gray area). If you don't hear anything- that means Walking Wednesday is on!
